Recipe Hero Permalinks

We touch on the Recipe Hero permalinks a bit in the Display Recipes documentation, but I’ll go over them again here in more detail.

By default, your recipes are initially found here:

http://yourwebsite.com/recipes/

However, as soon as you optionally set a Recipe Page in the Recipe Hero Settings, the ‘archive’ of all your recipes will be there.

So in the case above, where the slug of the Cook Book page is cook-book, the recipes ‘archive’ will be here:

http://yourwebsite.com/cook-book/

Single Recipes

For accessing a single recipe on its own, by default the recipe will be at:

http://yourwebsite.com/recipe/my-awesome-burger/

However, if you go to Settings > Permalinks, you have the ability to customise the ‘Recipe Permalink Base’:

So it could be http://yourwebsite.com/cook-book/my-awesome-burger/ or even something custom like http://yourwebsite.com/some-recipes-of-mine/my-awesome-burger/.

Cuisines / Courses

Additionally, you can customize the cuisines and courses permalink slugs.

So instead of http://yourwebsite.com/cuisines/thai/, it could be http://yourwebsite.com/countries/thai/.
